Cosmic Seniors Paradise envisions a society where elderly individuals experience dignity, respect, and love in their golden years. Holistic Wellness: We believe in promoting holistic wellness. Cosmic Seniors Paradise will offer a wide range of activities and services to enhance their physical fitness, mental agility, and spiritual growth while enhancing the quality of their life. From exercise programs, cognitive stimulation activities, and access to various therapies such as music & dance, opportunities for artistic expression and intergenerational interactions, we strive to foster a vibrant and flourishing community. Engaging Social Connections: We recognize the importance of meaningful social connections for the overall well-being. Cosmic Seniors Paradise will encourage a sense of belonging and create a warm and inclusive environment that promotes friendships and camaraderie. Through social events, group outings, cultural celebrations, and community engagement initiatives, we aim to combat social isolation and ensure that our elders feel valued and connected. PRESIDENT - DR. SEEMA BALI
Qualifications - MA Economics, MA - Astrology, M.Ed., PhD in Astrology Dr Seema Bali has undergone a 20 years long journey of being an entrepreneur. She always wanted to be a job provider than a job seeker. She started with generating employment from being an industry owner (Raj Enterprises), proprietor of Sheratal, clothing brand. She has been able to make a difference and create a positive impact in the society. ASTRO OCEAN her astrological Consultancy Firm provides easy solutions and magical remedies for improving the quality of life of those who seek her guidance and advice. Her research in astrology makes her uniquely capable in this field. She is the brain and the heart behind the NGO Cosmic Seniors Paradise which aims at adding joys to the lives of senior citizens.She is well known for conceiving and organising events and drives for senior citizens, mothers, fathers, poor and needy people, fashionable women, army personnel and their families. The motive of organising fashion shows and cultural events is to provide a platform to people irrespective of their looks and age.
VICE PRESIDENT -
General Secretary - Prabha Mongia
This 79 year old philanthropist is the guiding force behind the Seniors Citizens Paradise.
She believes in adding dignity and joy to all lives.
Vision - She wishes to promote the concept of remaining active through senior years. As a role model herself, she believes that by taking care of our own physical, mental and spiritual health, one can continue to be an active citizen who is able to take charge of not only self but add joy to lives of many others.
Treasurer - Basant Kaur
Mrs Basant Kaur is a social crusader and philanthropist. She earlier worked with an MNC and Transport Department of GNCTD. This fitness and sports enthusiast loves dancing, traveling and working for social causes
Vision-"To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors”. This quote perfectly describes my vision for the CSP. My aim being a member is to support and give as much love as possible to all the seniors in my journey. I will contribute my best t achieve the objective of CSP by ensuring the success of the events and initiatives. I look forward to planning memorable days for them by organizing various interesting activities and events.
Member - Urmila Sharma
She is 76 years old and an active and vibrant member of the Cosmic Seniors Paradise. A mother of two children, a homemaker and a published author. She loves knitting, reading & writing stories and poems on social issues.
Her fourth book will be published in the near future. She is an active member of the Golden Lioness Sukarma Club.
Vision- As a member, she looks forward to participating in social service. She is looking forward to interacting with many seniors. She feels that social connections through organisations such as CSP are very significant for those whose children would want them to go out with like minded senior citizens and have fun while contributing effectively for the welfare of the Society. Through meeting others, they will be able to once again rekindle love for learning new skills as it is never too late to develop new habits and learn new things. She truly believes that we can create a wonderful community of seniors that will provide happiness and renewed meaning in our lives.
Member - Ritu Vashisht
Ritu Vashisht is an exceptional educator who has dedicated 27 years of her life to the noble profession of teaching. As an army wife, Ritu has had the privilege of traversing the length and breadth of the country, enriching her experiences and embracing diverse cultures. Ritu possesses a unique expertise in confidence-building, particularly among schoolchildren and teachers. She is also a cancer survivor, which has further strengthened her resolve to make a positive impact on others' lives. She actively collaborates with the Indian Cancer Society, working closely with patients in hospitals to provide them with the necessary mental and emotional support. Ritu's counseling sessions aim to help these individuals become resilient and mentally strong, enabling them to endure the challenges of their treatment journey. Throughout her illustrious career, Ritu Vashisht has left an indelible mark on the lives of countless students and educators.
